Ruandischer Ugali
Eine feste Beilage aus feinem Maismehl, Wasser und Salz, die in Ruanda traditionell zu Eintöpfen und Gemüse serviert wird.
Ugali wird zubereitet, indem feines Maismehl unter Rühren in kochendes Wasser gegeben wird, bis ein dicker, fester Teig entsteht. Dieses Rezept ergibt etwa 4 Portionen; die aktive Vorbereitungszeit ist ein Richtwert.
Zubereitung

Wasser zum Kochen bringen
Gib Wasser und Salz in einen Topf und erhitze alles, bis es kocht.

Mehl einrühren und eindicken
Rühre das feine Maismehl nach und nach unter ständigem Rühren ein. Reduziere die Hitze und rühre etwa 10 Minuten weiter, bis die Masse eindickt und einen festen Teig bildet.
